This is an amazing yarn in every aspect. We take a single ply wool and run it on an industrial knitting machine to create fabric. The fabric is then Felted and ironed flat. The fabric sheets are put through a flat bed that has sharp razors that cut the ribbon to our desired width and a bobbin runs a sewing stitch down the center to create a bit of a ruffle to the yarn. When it is dyed, the colors run deep and strong. Fatigues is very light weight and knits up easily in basic stitches, pattern stitches and as a single plied yarn or in multiple strands of one color or multi colors.
